Understanding that communication is the key to success, FCCI Insurance Group is constantly striving to better its working environment. The communication team sought for ways to simplify and improve connections among the corporation, its employees, and onsite visitors. In search for systems to replace traditional message boards, the FCCI team reached out to the professional digital signage solution provider at MediaVision Solutions.

The FCCI team requested for an easy-to-operate system with the capability to display multiple information and contents in different zones. With the objective of modernizing the corporate headquarters while increasing the effectiveness of their internal communications in mind, MediaVision opted for CAYIN’s SMP players to fulfill the mission. Initially, 2 SMP player’s were implemented at the company’s headquarter to replace the monthly cafeteria menu, and act as lobby announcement boards. During installation, MediaVision encountered issues of visible cabling, but was able to overcome this obstacle by integrating the solution with a wireless HD display system.

Upon realizing the difference digital signage makes in transmitting messages, and the simplicity of the SMP-NEO software, the FCCI team decided to expand the network to the lobbies of 3 additional regional offices, with a total of 5 SMP players and 6 displays.

In 2013, MediaVision began to design and implement the FCCI Insurance Group digital signage project. Once they starting using the digital signs the internal communication team was able to see great improvements in employee and guest engagement. Adding superior service and accessible software for central management to the equation, the project became a huge success. Therefore, FCCI has not only expanded the network to its regional offices across the US, but is strongly considering integrating touch displays for way-finding purposes into their current solution, also powered by the SMP players.
